Before you begin, make sure:
You have an Employee Self Service User ID (your “997” number) and Password.
You are using one of the preferred browsers for Employee Self-Service: Microsoft Edge, Google Chrome, or Mozilla Firefox. Additional browsers are available for Mac and mobile systems. Email the ESS HelpDesk (ess.help@state.co.us) if you need information on these browsers.
Pop-up blockers are disabled in your preferred browser.
State Employees can access the Employee Handbook through the Department of Human Resources.
