Employee Self-Service (ESS) will be periodically unavailable due to planned system maintenance activities. Employee Self-Service will be down for monthly maintenance during the second weekend of each month. During this maintenance window, the application will be unavailable from Saturday evening at 5 PM MT until maintenance activities are complete. Completion time varies, but the application is typically available by Sunday at 12 PM MT. Additional outages may occur for calendar- and fiscal year-end processes.
An alert on the ESS Home Page will remind users of upcoming planned maintenance activities. ESS will be available to users any time outside of these planned maintenance windows; there is no need to be connected to the State VPN or to be on a State-issued computer.
